Slaughter House 5, if you haven't already read it.
The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, if you haven't already read it.
Catch 22, same deal.
Or, how about The Loved One by Evelyn Waugh? It's hard to find, but I really liked it. Truman Capote's story collection, A Tree Of Night, is also wonderful.
Or try some philosophy - there are plenty of beginner's books out there that aren't too bad. If you want something challenging, try reading Plato's Symposium (about different concepts of love) with the commentary by Martha Nussbaum in the book The Fragility of Goodness. If you do that though, read the commentary first ;)
Correction noted, Fraulein Winter. And yes, I'd like.
Mark, Thanks for all of your suggestions! I actually just finished reading Catch 22 last week, and enjoyed it very much.
I read a little philosophy while taking a class called The History of Ethics in college. I remember it being a bit dry but interesting, so I may give it another try.

Actually I was quoting not correcting.
Ahh. What are you quoting? I can't figure it out.
A line in ghostbusters. I guess I'm transfering quotes from one friend group to another.
